Artists' open studios on 4th and 12th of December 11-5pm. Come visit a working artists' studio in the beautiful Georgian Mansion in Beckenham Place Park. Free, walk in event, entrance is on the north side of the Mansion. Address is Beckenham Place Mansion, Beckenham Place Park, Beckenham, BR31SY. Festive season is here! On 4th there will also be a Christmas Market in the mansion with over 30 stalls all showcasing bespoke gifts and wonderful food outside! On 12th there will be vintage market inside the mansion and artisan street food outside. Great day out in the park!

Kate is particularly interested in the interplay of light and contrasting edges, from burred to sharp, in her work. Each piece aims to emulate both the beauty and feeling of landscapes, to more or less abstracted extents. She enjoys the challenge inks present in mastering the unpredictable and sees inks as an ideal medium to express mood and atmosphere. She will be showing her atmospheric alcohol ink paintings.
Anita's subject matter is drawn from the abstract forms in the nature with a strong connection to the ocean and the changing mood of the sky. Big oceans and skies inspire her to slow down, take a deep breath and create. She will be showing original paintings and limited edition prints.
I will be showing some new large paintings exploring the subject of water and releasing limited edition of hand finished giclée prints from my "Hortus Imaginarius" (Imaginary Garden) series. Select pieces of hand painted furniture will also be available for sale.
On 4th of December we will also have an essential oils expert caring for the Christmas scent in the studio and giving info to those who are interested in essential oils!
